'The X Factor' Final 16: Watch the Girls' Performances...With a Twist! (VIDEO)

'The X Factor' Final 16: Watch the Girls' Performances...With a Twist! (VIDEO) After the high-pressure auditions, the grueling Boot Camp, and the stressful performances at the judges' homes, the final 16 (17, really) for "The X Factor" have been decided.

The Girls category may be the strongest of all, as evidenced by how difficult it was for their mentor Simon Cowell to make the decision as to who would go with him to the live shows. Ultimately, Cowell couldn't decide on just four, and made a special trip down to Florida to offer the ousted Melanie Amaro a spot in the finals.

Thus, the Girls category has five contestants: Drew Ryniewicz, the 14-year-old Bieber fan; Rachel Crow, the youngest remaining competitor; Simone Battle, a pure pop performer; Tiah Tolliver, the girl that Cowell himself fought for; and Melanie Amaro, a favorite from the beginning that Simon went to offer the extra spot in the finals.

It's difficult to say who the favorite is among these girls. Rachel Crow has charmed pretty much everyone, but Drew gave what might have been the best performance out of all of them the other day. Plus, they went to all that trouble for Melanie, so she probably has a shot, right?
